Martin back from the Alps

MD Martin Jones completes 3 stages of the Tour de France in aid of William Wates Memorial Trust

I am now back in the office after a grueling trip to the Alps, riding three stages of the Tour de France with the TradeHelp team. We completed stages 17, 18 and 19 seven days prior to the actual tour.  Chris Froome and the Tour de France will be riding Stage 17 today, so I appreciate how difficult it is for them to race the stages I struggled through.

The great news is that the whole “Le Loop” event which is what we were part of raised £348,000 for the William Wates Memorial Trust to help under privileged children.

A big thank you and well done to the TradeHelp team that joined me.  I think I’ll take a short break from the saddle before signing up for next year!
